Tanda privacy policy
Tanda collects, stores and transmits no personal data. This page explains exactly what happens to your files when you use the app.
Your files never leave your machine
All renaming and format conversion run in the browser or in the app window, on your own device's processor. Tanda has no servers to upload files to, and it sends neither their contents, nor their names, nor their metadata anywhere.
Folder access
When you press "Open folder", the operating system asks your permission for that one folder. Tanda can only read and change what is inside it, and only while the app is open.
What is stored on your device
- A copy of the app in the browser cache, so it works offline.
- Your preferred language and theme.
- Nothing else: not your rules, not your file names, no usage history.
Third parties
The app loads one external resource: the IBM Plex typeface from Google Fonts. That request carries no information about you or your files. Everything else — the renaming, the conversion and the ZIP writing — runs on code that ships inside the app itself.
No ads and no tracking
Tanda carries no advertising, no tracking cookies, no usage analytics and no device identifiers.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects data from nobody, whatever their age.
